Nocatee House Fire - The Black Family

At 11:30pm on the cold and clear night of December 7, 2020, Britton Black woke up to an explosion sound in her living room and found her Christmas tree and home engulfed in flames. Thank goodness the tree was in the back of the house and she and her dog and boyfriend were able to escape out of the front door. She ran out without a jacket, shoes, or a single item except a phone. She has lost everything, and yet her attitude is that at least no one was hurt and her neighbors were safe. She's thankful for her health and thankful to be alive. Her neighbors want to help her get back on her feet as she awaits homeowner's insurance to kick in and for home to one day be rebuilt. We know she would do the same for us immediately. We would love to raise $7,000 so she can purchase warm clothes, shoes, jackets, personal items, medicines, food, dog food and dog care items, holiday gifts etc.  We want Britton to have a happy and merry Christmas after losing her home.
