Brittani's Brain Surgery Fund

Hello everyone. This is my beautiful younger sister Brittani. Back in 2012 my sister began having severe pain and difficulty with her vision. She went to see an optometrist that sent her to a neurologist. The neurologist ran their necessary tests and came up negative so she was sent to a rheumatologist. The rheumatologist then diagnosed my sister with lupus. She quickly began the treatments, injections and medications but nothing seemed to help. The doctor was at a loss and sent her to an infection control doctor but unfortunately this doctor was unable to help her as well. She was then sent back to a different neurologist who performed yet another MRI and a spinal tap to rule out the possibility of MS. The spinal tap came back negative however the MRI showed a pineal gland cyst/tumor. My sister was then sent to a world renowned neurosurgeon for a surgery consultation. The neurosurgeon informed my sister that if she wanted to have any chance of resuming a normal life she would need the cyst/tumor (they are not sure exacty if it is a tumor or cyst until they go in) removed as soon as possible. My sister has been through hell these last two years. I have seen my sister in such excruciating pain that she was hoping that God would take her and relieve her pain. Seeing my sister in pain like this is one of the most heart breaking things I have experienced. If I could take her pain away and endure it myself I would.  She deserves a normal life and my nephew deserves to have his mom back well. My sister is unable to work due to the pain and the loss of her vision. She has trouble with her memory and cannot remember simple things like how to get from point A to point B even if she has been there a hundred times. My sister can no longer receive disability since she was on it for a year. Her surgery cost is $149,955. Her portion that she is responsible for is a MINIMUM of $44,000 as long as she has the surgery before December. There is no payment plan. This amount must be paid up front before they will schedule the surgery. She has already paid $17,000 out of pocket just for copays alone this year. My sister is the sweetest and would give the shirt off her back to anyone in need.  She does not ask for help so instead I come to you and ask you for help. I want my sister back. I want her to be able to go to work as a dental assistant, be a happy healthy mom to my nephew and just live a normal pain free life. With this surgery she has a chance of getting all of those things back. Please help me help my sister. There is nothing that I would not do for her but at this point I need your help.
