Providing Solar Energy to Kikkaya School in Uganda

Hi Guys!

My name is João and I'm a engineering student and international volunteer from Portugal and together with The Nation Foundation NGO we are seeking your help throught this fundraiser to help purchasing and installing solar panels in a school near Kampala, Uganda- Kikaaya! 
Your help would provide children of Kikaaya College School reliable uninterrupted power and conditions to have better education !

Every dollar you contribute goes directly to the students and projects of Kikaaya College Schools

I will be at the school in the months of June and July helping with operations and teaching myself children from the ages of 10-16 in Mathematics and First-Aid! Your help would be of an immense value! These children have so much potencial, lets all get together to support them achieve it!

- 52% of Ugandan citizens are unemployed (Trading Economics)  

- 3 out of 7 adults are illiterate (UNData) 

- Just in 2015, over 660,000 orphaned due to AIDS (UNAIDS)  

- 39% of Ugandan youth are not enrolled in secondary school (Nation Master)
