Bringing the Family Together

My sweet, crazy, loving, do-anything-for-a-friend-in-need friend Kristy is going through a really hard time with her family. Her mother, Rose, has been battling cancer for some time now, and just received devestating news. The cancer has spread into her spine and there is nothing more the doctors can do for her. She has been given 4 to 6 weeks. Kristy is a full-time stay at home mom to 3 amazing boys, and her husband, who travels for business, is away more than he is home. Finances are tight as both parents make sacrifices for their children. Kristy wants nothing more than to be by her mother's side during this difficult time but traveling 4+ hours every day just isn't a feasible option for a SAHM of 3. A donation of ANY amount will help make it possible for Kristy and Rose to spend as much time as possible together and make some final memories they will both cherish.

Update: Kristy is blown away by the overwhelming support received so far and wants to send a big thank you to everyone! The money raised is not only allowing her to be my her mother’s side, but it’s also allowing her dad to return to work so he can continue to receive benefits – benefits that Rose really needs right now like hospice care, medications, etc. Your donations are also allowing Kristy to be the one taking care of her mother, rather than a stranger.
