Bring Home Evelyn Moore!

People feel 'called' to all kinds of things: jobs, places, people. One of the things Kirsten and I both felt particularly strongly about and attracted us to each other when we started dating was the orphan, the fatherless, and adoption. This is one of the Moore family's main callings: to bring home or advocate for as many of the fatherless as we can, for as long as we can. 

In April of 2016, we became the most blessed parents in the entire world when we were able to adopt our son, Joshua Zhou from China (you can see his 'gotcha day' video here). It has been the privilege of our lives to be his parents, to love him, encourage him, and have him be our son. He has thrived, grown strong, and is a joy to everyone he comes into contact with.

With so much joy and excitement, meet the newest member of our little family... our daughter, Evelyn Y. Moore.


The Lord is gifting to us another extraordinarily brave, courageous and beautiful child. Our little girl lost her right eye to cancer and after several rounds of chemo, her left eye was saved all before the age of 2.

Many know adoption is an expensive endeavor. When we chose to adopt our son, we made the decision to provide the funding ourselves. It was incredibly difficult, but beyond worth it in every way:)

Adoption is what our family does. And we want to continue adopting as long as we are able. We want to do due diligence to seek out every resource and grant we can. But we still need help.

Adoption is something we feel so very strongly about. And, though not everyone should adopt, we sincerely hope everyone would do something about the fatherless.

We are asking for help covering:
Agency fees - $11,550.00
Third Party fees (US & International Governing Bodies) - $13,413.00
Travel Expenses - $7,022.00

So would you help us bring our daughter home? Would you help us bring her to a place where her physical, emotional, relational needs can be met? Would you help her get the medical care she needs? Would you help her see what family is? Would you help make one less orphan in the world?
