It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved resident and friend. He was truly the light and heart of our community-someone whose presence could brighten any room. He never missed an activity and was always the first to join the fun, bringing laughter and joy wherever he went.

He was funny, loving, and had the biggest, most generous heart. A proud San Diegan, he was San Diego’s number one Padres fan, never missing a game and making sure everyone knew this was a Padres community. He loved gardening just as much as he loved the Padres and found true joy in teaching others how to garden. Animals were naturally drawn to him, Snow White would be jealous of his power to attract them.

He loved every holiday and celebrated each one with pure happiness. His kindness, humor, and unforgettable spirit touched everyone around him and left a lasting mark on our community.

We hope to bring him back home to Lo-Har Senior Living and create a memorial garden in his honor—a peaceful space filled with life, growth, and love, just as he was. This garden will stand as a lasting tribute where residents, staff, and loved ones can remember him and feel his presence.
