It’s that time of year again! :)

As many of you know, back in 2013, I met the amazing Sosa family when I answered a letter to Santa. The son, who was 14 at the time, wrote the letter -- not asking for toys, but for a pair of sneakers, pajamas, underwear and socks for him and his younger sister. I fell in love with this amazing family and their hard working mom. In the past 12 years, the mom received her GED, both kids graduated from high school, the son graduated from college (and is working hard and trying to get enough flight hours to become a pilot) and the daughter works and goes to college too. Every year since 2013, I’ve tried, with the help of my super generous friends, to give them a really special holiday— where they don’t have to worry about food or presents. Any additional money raised this year will be donated to a local food pantry as so many children and adults are struggling with food insecurity this year. ☹️
