Bringing Home Divya Ruth

We are Matt and Elisabeth DeFoor. We are childhood sweethearts, we have two young daughters, and we have wanted to grow our family through adoption from the beginning of our marriage. In 2012 we began the process to adopt from Ethiopia. After a 4 year wait without a match or referral, Ethiopia shut its doors to international adoption.  We had a choice about whether or not to continue pursuing adoption, and in April 2017, we began again to adopt from India, and were matched with a little girl with medical needs right before New Years 2018. We are so excited to add another girl to our family! We are hopeful to bring her home before the end of 2018, and are raising money to help cover the cost of travel, living, and medical expenses during our stay in India.

Its hard to believe that international adoption costs upwards of $30-$40k,  and we can use all the help we can get. Thank you for your generosity, and for helping to bring Divya Ruth home! Jeremiah 29:11
