If you have spent anytime in the quaint Village of North Bennington, Vermont, than I wouldn’t be surprised if you’ve walked passed 5 Main Street, a landmark town building where Bridget Andrews grew up. She has spent over 25 years as a dedicated business owner of Hair & Now; serving clients and employing many people, most who turned into dear friends. Bridget is a true caregiver. She is raising an incredible son, who is the epitome of kindness. She sat bedside, hand in hand when her father, Jack, another North Bennington icon who passed away and she has just recently lost her fabulous mother Maureen.

The time has come that Bridget needs our care, financial support, love, and even prayers.

Bridget has been recently diagnosed with early stage breast cancer. She is being treated and is very optimistic with her health care team. But the reality is Surgery, radiation or chemotherapy will be in her future, some is unknown. But this will be a tremendous burden on her physical ability to work. I hope that we can lift her spirits and rise to the occasion to show her encouragement and, if you can, donate to support her financially.

The last time we had a breakfast date at Blue Benn, Bridget whispered over to the waitress, “I want to buy his breakfast” I looked over my shoulder wondering who it was, and I quickly asked her, assuming it was a friend of her dads. She replied, “ I don’t know who he is, but I think he needs a good day.”

That’s the type of women Bridget is. No credit needed, just a good deed. So I pray that we can pay it forward to her, by rallying together and remind her how appreciated she is. It is our turn to give her a good day, while she bravely undergoes treatment. I have faith that she will beat this cancer, and knowing her, it will be with a smile on her face. She is the last person to ever ask for help, as she’s normally the one helping so if we can alleviate a little financial stress, my heart will be full of gratitude to all.

Honestly she hesitated allowing me create this but I know it will help her.

All my love,

Bridget’s Ride or die
