Brazil International Service Project

Prior to nursing school I had always aspired to travel abroad to provide nursing services to those in need. I have just been given this wonderful opportunity.


I am currently a nursing student at Chamberlain College of Nursing and have been chosen for the International Service Project to Brazil. I will be in Brazil for two weeks. While in Brazil I will be providing medical care to communities in need. The money I am raising is to help pay for my travel costs, housing, and medical supplies needed.


I will be helping a community who does not have access to regular medical care. Many of the people we will see may have never seen a doctor for care before. I will be using the skills I have learned as a nursing student to help impact lives. This will be an extraordinary opportunity to use my skills without the help of technology.


I have always had a special place in my heart for helping others. This experience will be life changing. The experience is a prize in itself, but making a difference in someone's life is the ultimate reward.


1st Goal: $300 by April 1st **update 1st goal reached!!!**
2nd Goal: $1750 by May 25th
3rd Goal: $3500 by July 25th


If you are not able to donate a monetary amount, please take a look at the list of items needed to take on the trip. All of these items will be used and given to the people we will care for in Brazil. If you can donate any of the items listed, I will pick them up. The items do not have to be name brand. Generics and no-named brands are more than welcome :)
