BRAVE A SHAVE FOR BABY FREDDIE

Tax deductible
Thank you for clicking on my page.
I am raising funds for very good friends of mine, who after already having 4 girls, became so happy to have news a little Prince was due 2 months after my baby boy was due. I was overjoyed for them, and excited to share our pregnancy journey.
I am going to shave my head to support this cause! I have been growing my hair for years and this is a massive thing for me to do which will probably end in tears! But totally worth it. No one believes that im going to do it. But if we all raise enough ,i will go live for you all on Facebook! RACHEAL FLEMING

This is there story ❤...

On the 8th June 2017 my life changed for the worst, for me and my family. We were told the heartbreaking news that there was no heartbeat. Those words will never leave me and my fiancé. November 2016 we found out we were pregnant for the 5th time, 20weeks later we found out we were finally having a boy!! But just 3 weeks away from our due date I was rushed into hospital with the most horrendous pain, they thought it was gallstones but 24hours later we found out that wasn’t the case, my uterus and placenta had ruptured and Freddie had passed away there was nothing that could be done to save him. After the operation. I was given Freddie in my arms, and we got to spend as much time with him as we wanted, he slept next to me in a cuddle cot all night. I will be so great full for this time we had with him, its time that I know I’d never get back. When it was time to leave the hospital without Freddie was awful it broke our hearts. When Freddie came to our local funeral directors unfortunately for them with didn’t have a cuddle cot. I would like to raise £1700 to buy them a cuddle cot. Thank you in advance for any donation .

I AM RAISING FUNDS FOR...

Cariad Angel Gowns - Raising Funds for Cuddle Cots
Coping with the death of a baby is an extremely difficult event. We believe that bereaved parents should be given the opportunity to spend time with their baby.
Providing this time for parents and families through the use of a cold 'Cuddle Cot' is internationally encouraged by midwives, bereavement practitioners, stillbirth/neonatal charities and academics.Time allows the family to form an important bond with their baby, whether this be dressing the baby, changing a nappy, taking precious photographs and hand and footprint casts, or simply just staying close, this time without a doubt helps families to cope with their loss.

Every penny raised will go towards providing a cuddle cot to either a hospital or funeral director, so that the grieving parents of these babies have the opportunity to spend the time they need before arranging a funeral.
Those situated with a funeral director will be floating units, so that they can be used in that geographical area and this means that hospitals will not need to share the ones they have, and can accommodate baby's stillborn or lost early.
