Brain Tumour Charity - Payback GNR
Donation protected
Hi, around 18 moths ago, following a fall on holiday, a head scan revealed a life threatening brain tumour for my wife, Sue. Shocks like these affect aound 15,000 people a year and the need for knowledge and understanding of possible treatment options and outcomes is overwhelming. Unfortunately, there is lots of misinformation out there on the Internet, which is the last thing you need to read at an already stressful time. Fortunately (and not funded by the NHS) the Brain Tumour Charity provide simple, straight-forward information packs detailing everything you need to know both before and after treatment options and the possible post op outcomes. Sue has had a positive outcome and we both just want to give something back to the charity so their brilliant information service, on line and in paper format, can continue for those that will need to use it in the future. Thanks in particular to the RVI in Newcastle and Dr Otto Major and his team for giving Sue the opportunity to get race fit. Thank you for reading this, and donating if you wish to, and your support is very much appreciated by both of us. Glenn & Sue xx
