Brain Surgery for Florecito Pareja

This is Arianne, Florecitio’s girlfriend, and I am writing this in behalf of him to inform you of his condition.

Florecito has been officially diagnosed with arteriovenous malformation (avm), which is an abnormal connection between arteries and veins, on the right side of his brain last October 2022, when he had a seizure. He has been on anti-seizure pills since then. Although it didn’t seem to interfere with his everyday life, his doctor advised him to have it surgically removed to avoid worse seizures and possible strokes.

The neurosurgeon will be performing three minor surgeries and one major surgery to treat Florecito this February 2023. The minor surgeries will be an angiogram with embolization of the avm which aims to block the blood that flows in the avm. This will be done every Thursday of this month. Four days after his last angiogram, Florecito will be having his major brain surgery where the surgeon will now have the avm completely removed from his brain. The surgery will take up to 10 hours to do and he has to stay in the hospital for at least 5 days after the procedure.

We created this to give our willing family and friends a medium to extend their help and to be with us in this journey. With all of those procedures, the medical bill will obviously be very big as one brain surgery ranges from $20,000 to $100,000. The amount we’re raising is about 10% or less of the projected medical bill. Every cent and prayers are very much appreciated.
