Brady's Surgery Rehabilitation Fees
Spende geschützt
**** UPDATE****
Hi friends, Brady and I really need your help. He went in for surgery today on his left hip that he had a hip replacement on about 6 years ago. The surgery went well and he can keep his leg! They removed the metal and found he has a severe infection around the replacement. I have just heard news from my dad that he is able to help and I can pay him back over time. However, the cost of $5500 is only for the surgery alone, and Brady will need to go on long-term antibiotics (and we all know vets aren't cheap unfortunately) as well as attend physiotherapy/hydrotherapy sessions to rebuild his leg. My dad is going to sell his car to be able to afford the surgery costs, but the rehabilitation costs are still going to be a big challenge. I would appreciate any help towards the cost of his rehabilitation and getting better so he can run and play and be his usual self again! Thank you so much for all the support and kind words we have already received.
Even if you can't help out financially, just sharing this post means the world to both Brady and everyone who loves him.

Hi friends, Brady and I really need your help. I took him to the vet specialist today, and the vet looked at his left hip/leg and said the situation is dire. He has gone in for urgent surgery today. The surgeon will try to save his leg, but if he cannot he will have to amputate it. The cost for this operation in total is $5,500.
To give you some context on Brady's journey:
6 years ago, he got a full hip replacement, and since then, his leg has been okay (not great, but was still able to use it). About a month ago unfortunately something must have happened, because he stopped using that leg entirely.
Since then, he has been in immense and constant pain. I have taken him to the vet on multiple occasions to get xrays done, blood tests and pain medication to try and help- but this was only a temporary solution, and the pain medication was not helping. I would lie awake at night listening to Brady groaning in pain, he was unable to get comfortable lying down and struggled to even lie down to go to sleep. The muscle in his left leg (the one that had the hip replacement) has completely degraded from him being unable to use it. I have been unable to take him on walks, and he has not been himself since the incident.
For those of you who have met Brady, you will know what a sweet and special boy he is. It absolutely breaks my heart seeing him go through so much. He doesn't deserve it. If I could take his pain away and experience it myself, I would. He is gentle, and wise, and caring and thoughtful. He is basically a human. He knows when I am sad, and comforts me. He loves people, and he loves children especially. Everyone who meets him falls in love with him. He is my child in every sense of the word. I would do anything for him, and it kills me that I can't financially afford this on my own. So I am asking for your help- in any way that you can. Even if its just a few dollars, or even if you can't afford that- please please please share this post. I appreciate it more than you will know.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, and please send your love and best wishes for his surgery.
