Help My Friend Angel Continue to Help Others

Hi, my name is Mike, and I am fundraising for my friend Angel to help her continue the daily operations of her businesses, "THE BOUTIQUE-ery" and "The Dessert Diva RVA." Both businesses work hand in hand and are located in Shockoe Bottom of Richmond, VA. She started out baking amazing treats, cakes, and other pastry items from her home and through hard-work, prayer, and dedication, she achieved her very first storefront in 2019.  Since then Angel's establishment has become home to a host of community events including, pop-up shops, poetry showcases, homeless feedings and clothing drives along with school supply and toy drives. She also regularly hosts artistic programs and showcases to give artists - like myself - a comfortable, safe, and supportive place to display their talents. Her venue (and her) have become a staple in our community. As businesses grew, her original location could not give enough room for all that she wanted to accomplish for the community. She truly worked harder than ever to be able to gain a bigger venue. Thanks to her determination and effort, she made enough money to get the space she's always wanted to successfully accomplish her goals. Unfortunately, unforeseen circumstances have caused setbacks in fully running her daily operations, starting with her own personal month long covid battle (we all have seen how detrimental that disease is). The requirements to get the space to pass inspections are beyond A LOT financially. This is why I'm campaigning to raise up to $10,000 so that her business runs efficiently and can continue to facilitate community efforts for artists and citizens of all shades. 
Current needs are:

 

*A hot water tank is required for the building in order for the kitchen to pass inspection. Right now, she is currently borrowing kitchen space from a friend who owns a local restaurant, however, this  reduces her production amount and also interferes with the time that's needed to be spent at her building for daily operation of the businesses.

*Improved AC/Heating capabilities for customers and her. She has autoimmune deficiencies (lupus, fibromyalgia) and other health issues that can be controlled and mitigated with the assistance of better climate control.

*Financial assistance to overcome struggles and delays due to her personal COVID-19 battle as well as construction/inspection delays caused by the city.

*licensing and permit fees

With these necessities met, my friend Angel will be able to smoothly run her business and provide the ultimate experience for her supporters, customers, and clients because she deserves it. She is SO supportive, friendly, welcoming, giving, and loyal to great energy. She doesn't like to ask for help but she is truly deserving of her blessings to achieve and maintain her dream. During my time of recovering from surgery around my heart, she always checked on me and my fiancee to ensure our mental and physical health were intact and if we needed anything. She has given me many opportunities to showcase my talents, support my business and entertainment endeavors, referred us to many opportunities that required a DJ, a comedian, and a bartender.  Angel's plate does not just contain that of someone who bakes cakes and hosts community events. She is also the mother of four children. Her youngest child is autistic and requires constant support for daily living functions which is a full time job in itself! He truly loves and clings on to her. I see her daily being an amazing mother to her children and she has expressed that she wants to leave a legacy for them and provide generational wealth for when they become adults. Therefore, it's an absolute must for her to thrive on making them proud, as well. It's not everyday you run into an amazing, pure, authentic, and positive soul.
