From Burundi to Bowers

Just about a year ago (and I don't say this lightly) I had a sense God was calling my family toward adoption. After fighting against this for a while I finally surrendered and said ok. But I also said God had to tell my wife because I didn't want to do it.

Last Thanksgiving, driving back from Kentucky, she brought up the idea of adoption and my mouth hung open because I had said nothing.

It's been quite a journey as we've wrestled, struggled, questioned, and wrestled some more. But we simply want to let you all in--our tribe surrounding us--to this journey we're taking.

Simply put, we've said YES.

But the journey is just beginning.  Over the next several months, we need to raise close to $20,000 to cover the international adoption costs and fund this entire process.  These funds will cover attorney fees, immigration fees, travel, and much more.  

More than any other time in our life, we believe this is a special moment and an opportunity to truly change a life.  So, we would love your help... any help you can offer.
