John Bowden . . . just to hear that name brings a warm feeling to your heart.
As most of you know, John was diagnosed with a brain tumor in early 2012. He had 5 brain surgeries in his 2 1/2 year journey with brain cancer and put everything he had into fighting this terrible disease. It is with great sadness to report John lost his battle on Sunday 9/28/2014.
When John was diagnosed, his first concern and his last were for his family and how this would affect them . . . they were the loves of his life. More than anything he wanted for them to be OK with little thought for himself. We can honor his wishes by helping to take care of them now when they need it most. This is our opportunity (community, family & friends) to help the Bowden family with expenses, of which there are many! In the past few weeks, Elisa took a leave of absence to be with John until the end of his battle. None of us can imagine how astronomical the medical bills for this illness must be. Please help us help them by making a donation to this much loved family.
John never ran out of encouragement and help for us. Giving to this family is a privilege. God bless you!
