Subject: Request for Support – Bourgeois Family Cancer & Recovery Fund

I pray this message reaches you with grace and peace. My name is Reva Renee Bourgeois, and I am writing on behalf of my family during one of the most difficult times of our lives.

My husband, El Jerome Bourgeois, was recently diagnosed with cancer, which led to a leg disarticulation (amputation) as part of his treatment and recovery. This life-altering procedure, combined with the ongoing battle against cancer, has changed our lives completely.

He is currently unable to work, and has been fighting in the hospital since July and is still hospitalized as of Sept. a

As his wife and caregiver, I am doing all I can to keep our household stable while supporting him through treatments, advocating, and daily care. Despite our faith and determination, the financial strain has become overwhelming.

In addition to covering our rent, utilities, food, bills, and other household necessities we are also trying to support our youngest child, who is a high school senior this year. As you know, senior year comes with many costs—graduation dues, senior activities, and final year expenses—and it breaks my heart to struggle with providing while fighting through so much.

We are starting this fundraiser to help us cover:

• Rent and utilities, bills, household necessities and other things are needed to take our home and everyday living, While I'm still being present at the hospital for my husband.

• Food and groceries, to provide daily nourishment

• Essential household bills during recovery

• Senior year dues and activities for our child’s graduation year
