**HELP US STAY OPEN THROUGH COVID-19.
Bodhi has been closed since mid-March. We are unsure when we will be able to reopen or if we will have to postpone future programs. Currently, we have no income to maintain the studio other than donations. You can support us by donating online, to help us continue to pay our rent and bills, along will sustain our monthly donations to our sister non-profits and other programs we support. You can also buy a monthly membership here , that will start when the studio reopens.

Sam Vetrano and Irene Pappas dreamed about creating a non-profit together for years.
Finally, all of the pieces came together to allow their dream to become a reality. Sam and Irene found a humble little second story space, and began turning it into an oasis where all are welcome.

Bodhi Boulder is a non-profit & donation based yoga studio in North Boulder, Colorado. Bodhi’s mission is to make yoga classes accessible to all while giving back to India- the place we borrow yoga from. Bodhi has given more than $3,000 to Universal Life Line and Tom and Jerry Nursery School. Universal Life Line educates parents in Bangalore on the importance of keeping their children in school, and Tom and Jerry Nursery School works with children with disabilities and special needs whose parents need help.

Bodhi also offers many partial scholarships for our teacher trainings to people that don’t have accumulated wealth or come from marginalized communities. In 2019 Bodhi gave more than $12,000 worth of scholarships to students, including students from India, Mexico, Jamaica, and Guyana. Our classes are “pay what you can” and we work with teachers that believe in our mission.

We need help in order to keep our studio open long enough to spread the word about we are doing. We use our privilege in running Yoga Teacher Trainings to educate future yoga teachers on subjects that are extremely important to us such as religion, politics, body inclusivity, gender, racism, sexism, cultural appropriation, and colonization and how these things are relevant to becoming a yoga teacher/ human in today’s society.
