Help us bring some holiday cheer to the residents of the LA Family Housing shelter in North Hollywood CA!
BOOST NOW is an organization that facilitates and increases the odds of a successful transition from adverse life circumstances through a supportive program that decreases vulnerability and susceptibility to associated risks of physical and mental health conditions. BOOST NOW promotes physical health and mental health function of children, adults, and family in need of a BOOST.
The mission is to provide accessibility to support group services and neurofeedback treatment to Los Angeles County homeless families and veterans, fostering independent, functional, and self-sustaining members of society.
Our support group services are safe, respectful and sensitive forums for homeless residents for personal growth towards well-being. These forums are haven for expressed thoughts and are sanctuary for nourishing the self. Related topics and issues pertaining to independence, functionality, self-sufficiency, physical and mental well-being are introduced and mediated with the group and are organically discussed among the residents.
Every year we bring holiday cheer to the support group members we serve through a holiday party! We provide our youths, teens, and adults with a full meal and a gift package with both fun and functional items to thank them for being a part of our support groups. We are asking for our friends and family to help us raise $2,500 to throw 3 holiday parties for our 3 support groups. Please help us make a difference for the holidays for our group members!
BOOST NOW (EIN 46-4851051) is in the process of applying for exemption under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and are awaiting our determination from the IRS. Pending the IRS's determination, your contribution will be tax deductible to the maximum extent of the law as of the date of your donation.
