Boik-Watassek medical fund

The Boik-Watassek family is going through a life altering medical crisis.  Lauren Boik-Watassek suffers from a chronic lung disease which has left her lungs severely damaged.   Because of this, she was rushed to the hospital and intubated.  Shortly thereafter, Lauren went into cardiac arrest.  Hospital staff administered CPR and brought Lauren back, however she was without oxygen for several minutes.  Lauren has been on a ventilator in a medically induced coma ever since and it is not known if and when she will come off the vent or what her condition will be once she is off the vent.  

The family depends on Lauren for the bulk of their income and neither Jennifer or Lauren are paid for time off.  As you can imagine this is an unbearably painful time for Jennifer, Lauren and their two boys, Luke 12 and Noah, 9.  The mounting medical bills are astronomical and there is no way of knowing how long Lauren will be in the hospital or what kind of care she may need long term.  

I have been friends with Jenny for over 30 years and I know for certain any help that we can give them will be greatly appreciated.  Please help if you can.  Thank you all in advance for anything you can do.
