Sunday morning  June 14th around 10 a.m. Michael was riding his motorcycle westbound on Jackson street when a negligent driver pulled out right in front of him, and sent him catapulting through the air. Because he always wears all his gear, he was almost completely unhurt - until he landed and basically he shattered his left hip and the left part of his pelvis. He was life-flighted to Metro, and after a marathon 11-hour surgery, he now has a long recovery road in front of him.
