BOATY BOYS X BALL AND ALL FUNDRAISER

On March 31st, a very determined or very stupid group from The Boaty Boys will be undertaking the David Goggins 4x4x48 running challenge! The challenge is this - we will be running 7km every 4 hours for 48 hours - totalling 84km in 2 days! We’re geared up to raise money for local, non-for-profit children’s charities, as well as contributing to local individuals & families in need.

 

This Goggins challenge is one of epic proportions and we’d love to see as many people around us for it - come and say g’day, run alongside and push us on, whatever - just be a part of it! There’s no donation too small, and we’re hoping that everyone can get on board in some way over the next month to make the challenge a success. To wrap up the challenge, in true ‘Go Big or Go Home’ style, The Ball and All Podcast will be running a live event with none other then the 3x surfing world champion Mick Fanning, alongside his former SuperCoach, Andy King, on Saturday the 2nd of April at the Cherry street bowling club! A sincere thank you to all who have so kindly donated to our previous fundraising efforts. The contributions you’ve made over time have gone on to make a very real difference in the community we love.

The money will be evenly distributed to:
1. The tsembis family.
Our friends from lennox who's one year old child Occy is battling leukemia. 
2. Skin dog
A local surfer and friend that has recently undergone surgery for a brain tumor.
3. Our kids foundation lismore
- A local organisation aiming to provide equipment to keep children at our local hospitals and not transferred away from home to places such as gold coast and brisbane.

Funds raised from this podcast will be withdrawn from a single account and distributed directly to these three avenues.

These funds can then be spent on these amazing people for their ongoing treatment and recovery without the burden of costs, while our kids foundation will use the funds to continue doing great things for children in our community.
