Boston the dog

Hi my name is Jack i am Boston's owner and have been since the end of 2017 . Boston is a 6 year old Rottweiler i rescued him when he was 1, he is a verry happy dog that loves going for drives and walks and loves visiting new places. I don't know where i'd be today if it wasn't for Boston ,he is more than a dog to me and is a really big part of my life.

The reason for this gofundme is to ask for some help with Boston's vet bills . Boston started limping really bad on his back right leg on Good Friday and has been back and forth to the vets multiple times since then. We was told at the time it may be his cruciate ligament and he has to avoid steps , I live in an upstairs flat so this meant that me and my girlfiend had to sleep in a tent with him in the yard for for a few weeks as he could not/ wasn't allowed to tackle the stairs for the flat. Although during this time Boston wasn't able to weight bear on his back leg properly and was in some pain he was still happy in himself and loved a cuddle.

From Good friday onwards boston was given pain medicine from the vets all the way up until his Surgery on 2nd May .

On the 2nd May Boston had surgery a procedure known as TPLO ( Tibial Plateau Levelling Osteotomy )

During the procedure there was some compilactions that caused Boston to bleed during the surgery. Although the surgery was succesful the complications have left us with more visits to the vets than expected post surgery. And multiple visits needed ongoing from now.

We have already maxed out the insurance that we have for Boston and would appreciate any help you can spare.
