Blessing Bags for the Homeless

We have been so incredibly blessed & at Thanksgiving especially, we feel compelled to give back to those who are less fortunate. So for the last several years, we have bought stuff for the homeless, compiled it into several bags & delivered it to a homeless community. The bags include things like new socks, beanies, mittens, gloves, granola bars, lip balm, blankets, snacks, soap, deodorant, toothbrushes etc. Every bag is different & not each bag has been equal in the past because we are not rich by any stretch, but we like to do what we can. This year I thought if we reached out to our friends & family to ask for some monetary donations we would be able to do so much more & spread even more joy. We never have enough for everyone & I always walk away feeling like "I wish I had more to give." So... ANY amount you can afford to donate will be put to good use. I'm hoping to raise $500 but HOW AWESOME it would be if we raised more than that!
