Black Trans Woman's Survival & Emergency Housing

We are asking for support for a Nigerian trans woman who was clocked as trans in her neighborhood.

 

Due to where she lives, she has been threatened that if she ever were to back they will k-word her. This had lead her to move to a more safe area where she is currently staying in temporary housing, but needs help getting into more permanent safe housing.

Update:

Thanks to the generosity of many, June 23rd we were able to meet our first goal that allowed her to transition into more stable housing!

The goal has since been updated in request for aid with essentials such as food and hormones.

There is an urgent need for $1,800 to find her new housing. Her parents found where she had been staying. They intend to bring her back for forced re-conversion. She had to flee her previous living environments and has been hiding in some unsafe places for the time being.
