Black Cabs vs Airport

Edinburgh Black Cab drivers and operators are being charged up to £160 for picking up passengers in the drop off zone at Edinburgh Airport, including when the Airport Company's appallingly inadequate arrangement for taxis has resulted in huge queues of frustrated passengers requiring onward travel.

Some of these drivers and black cab operators are now being sued in court for many £000's for simply doing their job.

This campaign is to seek funds to allow a robust defence to be presented to a test case which is proceeding against one operator.

A successful defence of that case on legal grounds shall go a long way to preventing any further proceedings being raised against any driver or operator.

If the defence to the case succeeds, donees to this campaign would share in any award of expenses which the defender in the test case may be awarded.
