Black Teen Takeover is an philadelphia based activist movement, originating in the African-American community. We campaign against violence and systemic racism towards black people. WE NEED JUSTICE. We can’t let the government run us over. They have terrorized us all of these years, and its our time to fight back. We are tired of being silenced. We are TIRED of seeing people of our color die everyday from various forms of police brutality. We are DONE seeing people of our color being killed by racists just for being black. WHEN THE COLOR OF YOUR SKIN IS SEEN AS A WEAPON, YOU WILL NEVER BE SEEN AS UNARMED. We should be able to run in our own community without being hunted down. We should be able to walk to the store without being shot and killed. We should be comfortable in our own skin. WE NEED TO TAKE A STAND. WE CAN NO LONGER STAY SILENT. WE WILL BE HEARD !!
Our first mission is to raise money to donate to black businesses hit during the riots that occurred on May 31st in Philadelphia. We will be donating $100 to 10 black businesses in our community. Anything can and will help. Thank You- BTT❤️
