Unfortunately our beautiful BFG King Enzo has taken a bad turn.
He had to visit the emergency vets on Wednesday night and to cut a long story short despite pain meds and an anti sickness injection he still hasn’t picked back up. So he’s now been admitted and put on a drip as he’s not eating or drinking or taking his very important heart meds. The vets will run more bloods and possibly do another scan of his heart and try and get to the bottom of what might be wrong with him.
Birch Hill Dog rescue are a small self funded dog rescue who are really struggling for funds so we thought we’d set up a Go Fund me to try and help towards the likely very high costs! Copies of all vet bills will of course be added for clarity. The first emergency vet visit was £301. This admission and tests is estimated to be between £800 and £1000 and if they determine he needs another heart scan that will be on top of that. We know it’s tough times for everyone but any few pounds really does add up and is so very much appreciated. Our big lad deserves every chance we can possibly give him. We will try and get a raffle together too to follow shortly. ❤️
