For those that haven't heard, Australian boxing legend, Billy Dib, recently underwent an operation after a 5cm cancerous tumour was found in his stomach.

Unfortunately, following the biopsy of the removed tumour, he was diagnosed with an aggressive and rare form of non-Hodgkins lymphoma cancer.

Billy plans to start chemotherapy as soon as possible, which he understands will be a challenging journey ahead. Still, he is grateful to walk this journey with the support of their health professionals, family and friends.

Knowing that athletes are incredibly proud individuals that rarely ask for help during difficult times, we are looking to help raise funds on behalf of Billy to help alleviate some of the financial burdens during this time.

In a situation such as this, treatment usually means long times away from work, training and competing, which is likely to have an impact on family, finances and more.

We believe that Billy's first and most important focus needs to be on recovering. So we greatly appreciate any support to help make Billy's journey that little bit easier!
