"Bills, Not Thrills"

As most of you are aware, in January 2011, John was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease.  Multiple hospitalizations, iron infusions, units of blood and medications have all been a part of this journey. He's tried different medications, participated in a drug study and attempted to adapt to his changing lifestyle.  His illness has turned his life into a cycle of illness/partial recovery/and illness again. 

He has not been able to maintain a level of health necessary to pursue employment, nor to attend college.

Due to his health, the current job situation we find ourselves in, and the lack of health insurance, our family finds ourselves in financial crises.  The hospitalizations ( while being uninsured) have led to  a pile of medical bills. Jobs we currently have are inadequate to meet the household bills.  My own hospitalization in 2013 has also contributed to these unpaid medical bills.

The funds we are attempting to raise will help pay off medical and household expenses we are behind in and put brakes on our van.

John has an appointment tomorrow, October 20, 2017, at 4:15.  His doctor's office is asking us to pay the $2,000 we owe them, plus the $125 office visit fee (uninsured cost)  There is also a very real chance John may need to be hospitalized again. (He was hospitalized as recently as May of this year)

We would like to be able to pay at least them off tomorrow!

I would like to say, that we would not be where we are today, if not for the GENEROSITY  in the past of family and friends. We love all of you and sincerely appreciate all you've done for us in the past.  We also would not be where we are with out the faithful, daily prayers of so many!
