Bikes From Knights! Sending 500 Bikes to Namibia

In collaboration with the Knights of Columbus, Bicycles for Humanity Vancouver is raising funds to ship our next container of 500 bikes to our partner, B4H Namibia.
Taking our old/unused bicycles here in the developed world and getting them to those in needs transforms lives and is a truly incredible second life for the bicycle!
By donating bikes to workers, children, doctors, etc the gift of mobility allows communities to flourish and economies to grow. Kids can get to school that previously couldn't, doctors can see 4 times as many patients in a day and goods can get to market that otherwise could not.
As well, we have a very special gift in this shipment - a hand-pedaled bike donated by Cody and his mother Nancy based in Winlaw, BC. Keep your eyes on the campaign for an upcoming blog post that will cover more details on its journey.
It is amazing to step back and think about the benefits that one bike and its journey will provide, let alone a full container of 500 bikes! Your donation will help us get our current container which is full and ready to ship on the water and over to our friends in Namibia.
Each $10 donation equates to shipping one bike. Please consider making a donation and also share on social channels with your friends and family to help spread the word. This campaign will positively impact so many lives, lets come together and help those in need! :)
Any funds raised over the $5000 will go towards purchasing our next container and keeping the good rolling! :)
