A bike for Kaleb
Donation protected
Our son Kaleb was born with physical and cognitive disabilities as a result of an IVH (brain bleed) in utero. He has been diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy (muscle issues), Epilepsy (about 15 seizures per day), Asthma, CVI (vision issues) and he is nonverbal. In Kaleb's six years of life he has had countless hospital visits, blood transfusions, surgeries and takes multiple medications daily but through it all he smiles. He has an amazing personality and a contagious laugh; He is such a sweet loving boy. He recently had surgery on both his hips; they were being pulled out of socket due to his muscle issues. The surgeon had to surgically break both of his femurs and set them using metal plates and pins in order to get them back into socket. It has been a long strenuous recovery but he has been a trooper through it all! As part of his rehab to strengthen his legs after his surgery Kaleb's therapist got him on a Rifton Adaptive Tricycle.... He absolutely loved it!! It was so awesome to see Kaleb doing something that many said he would never do. PLEASE HELP US GET KALEB A BIKE!! So that he can ride along with his friends and family this summer.
