Radnor Trail Bike Repair Project

Donation protected
Have you ever been on an enjoyable bike ride, but had to deal with problems such as flat tires or broken chains?  In the middle of a bike ride, there is rarely anything that you can do to fix these problems, and bike shops will only charge you more and more money to fix them.  That is where my eagle scout project comes in.  With the ability to fix these problems with ease, cyclists save countless time and money and can get back on their bike to enjoy the rest of their ride!

Hi, my name is Clarke Piatt, and I am a life scout with Boy Scout Troop 284 hoping to make a difference in my community.  I am trying to receive the rank of eagle scout by installing a bike repair station on my local trail to help those in need.  This project would help so many people, as I have observed, who have dealt with broken bike parts and dealt with flat tires and broken chains.  The low impact project, while incredibly helpful, does come at a steep cost, but with the help of local community members and passionate people all around, we can help improve the Radnor Trail and provide a public service that civilians can perform themselves.  Thank you for your time and bike safe!

Any extra funds will go to Radnor Township to help with other eagle projects like mine
