BE SAAC Mental Health Fundraiser

The BIG EAST Conference Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) has undertaken an initiative to build awareness of mental health and to help end the stigma surrounding it.  A goal of the initiative is to increase the number of conversations that are occurring regarding mental health and ensuring that student-athletes feel supported.  After completing a conference wide Four-Person Push-Up Challenge to increase awareness of the importance of mental health the SAAC is gearing up to participate in the first ever BIG EAST Conference Mental Health Summit taking place June 15 – 16th at Georgetown University.  In conjunction with the summit the SAAC is leading a fundraising campaign to raise money for the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI).  Please join the BIG EAST Conference SAAC in building awareness of mental health and ending the stigma by donating to this campaign. #BEtalktome #NAMICommunicate #BIGEASTmhs
