Big Charlie’s Funeral

It is with unbearable sadness and heartbreak that we are announcing the death of our beloved big Charlie. Our Charlie was larger than life and had a heart made of gold, he radiated positivity and helped anyone without a second thought. An unbelievably supportive father to his children, Andrea and Sotiri, and the most loving and caring husband to his dearest Lulu. He was the love of my life and my shining light. He was our protector and always gave his family the confidence to strive and carry on. We know how loved our Charlie was by everyone and no one loved harder than him. He adored nothing more than to be surrounded by family and friends, having a souvla in the sun, and pumping his funky Prince music to the max. Arsenal was a big part of his life, he was Charlie-the-gooner after all. From going unbeaten to losing at home to Burnley, he had seen it all. It's fair to say the reds meant a lot to the big man. Charlie carried unmatched charisma and was certainly a story teller and filled the room with laughter and smiles. Unfortunately, he lost his battle with Covid-19 and left us too soon. We all know our Charlie was a fighter, and had already overcome so much through out his life and never gave up. We know our Charlie would have loved a huge party to celebrate his life, but instead we politely ask anyone who would like to help us raise money to help towards the funeral costs.
