Homeless family needs a home
Donation protected
For the past couple of years our Labor and Delivery unit has adopted family's in need at Christmas time. This year a family that suffered a fetal loss at our hospital and have two other small children ages 1 and 2 touched quite a few of our lives with their story. They are currently homeless and their two small children are being temporarily housed with an organization that takes children in temporarily until they can get back on their feet. They are living with friends but it is a day to day situation. The Dad has a job at Walmart currently. We would like to try to raise enough money to help them with first and last months rent and stock their pantry with food and other day to day essentials. We would like to purchase the little ones some clothes and maybe one or two toys. We would love to get Mom and Dad back on their feet so that they can bring their children to live in a safe environment for them. Anything that you can donate will be helpful, they have nothing. Please find it in your heart to help a family in dire need this Christmas Season. We are doing a personal fundraiser in our department at the hospital as well and if those who know any of us feel more comfortable we will be accepting donations of food, clothing and gift card/cash donations directly at the hospital as well. Thank-you everyone for your support for this sweet family.
