Hello! I am disabled and currently in a bad living situation, and am raising money to move to another location where I would be more safe.
I’m Piper Ashford and I currently live with my mother. My childhood was extremely rough and as a result, I have C-PTSD. My mother is one of the causes of my C-PTSD and living with her has me taking Ativan daily in order to cope with triggers and abusive arguments. I’m currently disabled--due to fibromyalgia, chronic migraine disease, and other health problems--and I’m on disability, so I’m looking at moving back to another state where my true family is. However, I’ve been crunching numbers, and I need about $1800 in order to help with move costs. But because I’m on disability, I have no way of making that money, unless I save up my month to month money, which I’m not allowed to do due to several regulations that start in October.
The $1800 will help me with move costs as well as first month’s rent and last month’s rent for renting a room. This will ultimately enable me to be financially independent and I won’t have to move back in with any family members. My goal for moving is July.
