Best of Bensham Christmas 2020 Appeal

This year has been extremely difficult for many families due to Covid-19 especially in the low income areas of Bensham and Saltwell. Whilst many people are concerned about job loss, financial security and food poverty, they have the added worry that Christmas are fast approaching.

Our aim is to provide children’s toys, gifts for older people and a hamper of food to those struggling during the Christmas period. We are not just asking for financial donations, items such as new toys, toiletries, tinned goods and Christmas treats would also be greatly appreciated. Anything you can spare.

Best of Bensham primary support Bensham and Saltwell, however we are looking to spread Christmas joy as far across Gateshead as possible and need your help to do so.

Money raised will be used to buy toys, food and food vouchers.

Any donations can be delivered to St. Chad’s Community Project, 21 Liddell Terrace, NE8 1YN for the attention of Best of Bensham
