Best Buddies International is the world’s largest organization dedicated to ending the social,
physical and economic isolation of the 200 million people with intellectual and developmental
disabilities (IDD). Their programs empower the special abilities of people with IDD by helping them create
meaningful friendships with their peers, secure successful jobs, live independently, improve public
speaking, self-advocacy and communication skills, and feel valued by society.
On Saturday, June 2, I will be joining thousands of other passionate riders on a 100-mile cycle ride along beautiful Cape Cod. My goal is to raise $1500 for Best Buddies. All proceeds will go directly to this organization, as my personal expenses (travel, food, etc) will come directly out of pocket.
