Our friend Lisa is a single mom to her wonderful son named Ben. Ben is 15 years old & was diagnosed with autism when he was 5. Although non verbal, Ben had a great quality of life & loved exploring nature & the outdoors with his mom & his assistance dog Nick. 2 years ago Ben became medically unwell & has regressed to a point where he won’t venture outdoors, he needs assistance for all activities he once completed independently & his overall quality of life has deteriorated dramatically. He went from being able to feed himself & communicate through his expressions to being completely dependent on his mom for all personal care. Lisa now urgently needs funds to privately source specialists to assess & provide appropriate treatment to meet Ben’s needs. Any donation big or small is much appreciated.
