Benjamin is 21 months old.  He has 1 sister, Sophia, and 2 loving parents, Ricardo and Sarah.

3 weeks ago, Benjamin became ill with bronchitis.  When he failed to improve he was taken back to the doctor where they were informed that he had asthma.  On Friday, Septhember 8, 2017 after becoming lethargic, he was taken to the ER at the Children's Hospital. 

When initial testing came back fine, he had a head CT where it was revealed that he had fluid around his brain and a brain tumor called Ependymoma.  Ependymoma is a rare form of brain tumor found in the Central Nervous System.  There is also significant brain damage that the Doctors do not feel will get any better.

He underwent surgery September 6, 2017 where they were able to remove 1/2 of the tumor successfully.   However, Benjamin had a severe stroke after surgery and the Doctors are now giving Sarah and Ricardo very little hope that Benjamin will wake up.  He is currently on a ventilator to help him breathe and has a feeding tube.  

We are raising donations for the Aguliar family due to the costs that have incurred and will continue to incur.  The days off of work, the gas, and food for this family add up very quickly.  Let's show them that we support and love them as they continue to care for Benjamin while also simultaneously taking care of his sister, Sophia (8mos).
