Benefitting Bethany: Fighting Stage 3 Melanoma
Donation protected
As many of you may know, my sister, Bethany Arcuri, was diagnosed with stage 1B melanoma in October 2021.
After having a mole biopsied back in April, it came back benign and nothing to worry about. But it was ugly, and she wanted to have it removed for cosmetic reasons. Thankfully, her dermatologist had some sort of intuition and sent the whole thing to the pathologist just to have it looked at again. She then found out she has melanoma, 2mm thick.
At her initial appointments, it seemed as though it had not spread, but fast forward to November 2021, the day she was set to have her melanoma removed, when her oncologist decided to remove some lymph nodes just to be sure it hadn’t spread. Unfortunately, two of those lymph nodes came back as testing positive for metastatic melanoma, meaning her cancer has spread and progressed to stage 3.
Bethany is an incredible mother, sister, daughter, and human being, and she needs our support now more than ever. If you are able to donate anything to help her pay her medical expenses, we would be eternally grateful.
Thank you.
