Benefit for Troy Waitstaff

Troy NY is known for many wonderful things, one of those being its nightlife & locally owned restaurants. Within the magic of these unique places are the servers & waitstaff who work so hard to make your experience a moment never to forget.
The Covid-19 Pandemic has had an impact on so many here in the Capital Region and across the world, and especially our local server professionals here in Troy. This benefit aims to focus on raising funds for those servers & waitstaff here in Troy NY who have lost their jobs, lived off of unemployment, made many sacrifices to their way of living, generally struggled to get by, and are now slowly getting back into the mix as our downtown starts to get back to normalcy.
In celebration of this cause, Troy Saving Music Hall & local artist, The Eastern Highs, have teamed up to put together a concert & set of live interviews with local waitstaff impacted by the pandemic that will be aired at 8pm on June 25th in alignment with Troy Night Out to help raise awareness.
The money raised over the next month for this benefit will be distributed equally across participating Troy NY restaurants after June 25th, to be divvied within their own service/waitstaff teams, which will first aim to help stimulate their lives as we continue to reopen, and second to give one big virtual warm hug to our friends in the service industry, to let them know that we're thinking of them and that we as a community can come together and help them with our collective love & appreciation.
