Due to the Covid-19 pandemic the world is in a state of crisis. Communities need help. Social services, while doing their best, are stretched to breaking and the most vulnerable in our local communities are suffering.
At Ben Madigan's Bar and Kitchen we have a fully functioning kitchen and a team of staff that want to help.
We have decided to produce meals for the most vulnerable in our local community and to deliver them free of charge. We are providing our resources free of charge and our staff are volunteering their time, however we will need some assistance in funding this. We are now feeding over 130 people per day, 7 days per week - almost 925 meals every week!
If you have nominated a relative or neighbour and are in a position to do so we would appreciate a small donation. If you are unable to do so, don't worry we will still deliver meals.
If you haven't nominated anyone but would still like to help, all donations are most welcome.
We will continue this service as long as we are able to.
I would just like to reiterate that no profit will be made from this by Ben Madigan's Bar and Kitchen. If we have any surplus funds after costs are covered we will make more meals or donate to other charities that are doing something similar.
