Belmont Helps started 3/14 and joined the Winn Brook PTA, a 501c3 org as a volunteering group to help with local Covid-19 needs.  Tax-deductible checks can also be made out to Winn Brook PTA - put Belmont Helps in the memo line and mail to Amy Kirsch, 8 Jason Rd, Belmont, MA

Hi Friends, 
Belmont Helps started 3/14 to help locally with Covid-19 needs.  Please help us help others with food, groceries, handmade masks.  Our awesome volunteers are delivering and connecting those in need to resources, phone buddies and more!  If part of an organization, partner with us.  Belmont Helps participation is helping our community. We need more support to help those who have lost income, jobs, and more.  And we have many initiatives for you to get involved! More info can be found at www.belmonthelps.org

-Request free handsewn masks, or join our efforts making them
-Help purchase and/or deliver groceries for those unable to leave their homes
-Belmont Dines - help us purchase Restaurant Gift Cards to give to those in need
-Snacks and Drinks Collections for Mount Auburn Hospital and Belmont Manor Nursing home
-Belmont Together - May 16 at 7pm A collective effort and partnership to #Brighten Belmont by submitted everyones videos and would love YOURs!  #BelmontTogether and MORE! 
We need all hands on deck, many hands make light work.

With these initiatives we spent the money raised on mask kit materials, restaurant gift cards & Groceries for those in need, and sponsored 3 days of lunches for the council on aging.  Belmont Helps also created BelmontDines, supporting our local restaurants and those in need with one initiative.  Restaurant gift card purchases went to support those in need including  the Food Pantry, the School meals assistance program, and seniors - a win win!

We need to start collecting going forward here, and every donation counts to support our efforts.
