Bell, FL Tragedy Funeral Expenses

As their maternal grandmother (mother to Sarah) begins the process of laying her family to rest, this page has been created to help raise the funds necessary to give the 7 victims of the September 18, 2014 tragedies in Bell, FL a proper memorial service. These funds will be used to honor the following victims and to help with incurred expenses:
Sarah Spirit, 28 (mother)
Kaleb Kuhlmann, 10
Kylie Kuhlmann, 9
Jonathan Kuhlmann, 8
Destiny Stewart, 5
Brandon Stewart, 4
Alanna Stewart, 2.5 months
*Locally, an account has been set up through Alarion Bank in Alachua, FL if you would like to donate at any Alarion Bank. The account name will be: Bell, FL Tragedy, Acct #450007364
*These funds will be used to cover all funeral expenses and headstones first and will go directly to the funeral home once this fundraising campaign closes.
*Any additional funds raised in addition to what is necessary to cover the funeral expenses and headstones will be sent to Another Way Domestic Violence & Crisis Center (serving Levy, Gilchrist, Columbia, Dixie, Hamilton, Suwannee, and Layafette counties), Peaceful Paths Domestic Abuse Network (serving Alachua, Bradford, and Union counties), and the City of Alachua Recreation Department’s “Six Angels Fund” (a fund established to provide children the opportunity to play sports when cost is an issue).

Hi, my name is Sarah Beck and I am from Alachua, FL. I first met Christine and the children at our local ball parks as they played ball with us in the Spring of this year. As you can imagine our world was rocked when we heard the news of the tragedy in Bell, FL. Our hearts broke and immediately we felt like we had to something. After a conversation with Christine, it was very clear that the needs to cover funeral expenses would be large which is how this page came about. I have been in contact with Alan at Williams Thomas Funeral Homes who has kept me in the loop regarding expenses and needs. A bank account has been set up specifically for this GOFUNDME account. The funds will be transferred into that account and then a bank check will be drawn from that account and sent to the funeral home. Any additional funds (which we don't expect there will be any) will be sent to two different local domestic abuse shelters as well as the City of Alachua "Six Angels Fund" which is an account established to help children participate in athletics when cost is an issue. I am the creator of this page and put it in Christine's name in an effort to keep myself from being in any type of media coverage or spotlight. Clearly, the focus of this fundraising effort was to be on the children and the desire to give them a proper burial and headstones. I will be handling the funds and getting the bank check to Williams-Thomas Funeral Homes of Gainesville, Florida.
