The picture is what my daughter came home to after xmas break. She came home to two naked people in her room about to have sex on her bed with whipped cream. People she didn't know. Police were called, one was arrested for trespassing and she was left with 20 or so hyperdemic needles scattered around her trashed house to clean up . That being bad enough she soon discovered ALL of her things had been stolen. Apparenlty a group of meth addicts had broken in the house while all three roommates were away for xmas break and had turned her cute little abode into a meth amphetimine/heroin shooting gallery...after stealing all that could be stolen, including the toilet seat and all the food in the house.
ALL of her clothes ( bras, underwear, shoes, shirts, pants, coats and winter wear..socks too) Photo albums were gone and all her jewelry. Her school allowance after rent and tuition is about $250 per month for public transport, utilites and groceries...so not optimal but she is doing it
Everything from the bathroom, hair dryer, hot curlers, , shampoo, hairbrush, nail polish and oh,.....all make up and lipstick that she had so carefully saved up to buy. I looked at her today and said "honey why don't you go brush your hair.... she smiled and said "cuz i no longer have a brush"......
the curtains had been torn down and sheets put up to keep out the light. we found the curtains but the rods were bent and as twisted as the people squatting here.
All electronics were gone as well, laptops, TVs, DVD players, Vintage CD and DVD collections...and what wasn't stolen had been urinated on. Fabulous.
I have gotten the essentials for her, toothpaste, toothbrush, a couple pairs of shoes, new sheets and curtain rods so she can put back up the curtains (for some amount of privacy,) some sweaters/tops bras, and underwear. Event her umbrellas were taken or broken and tosssed outside
the big things still needed (besides her faith in humanity back) is a laptop for school, hair dryer, canned goods, and winter wear. Anything helps! Thank you so much!
Shool starts Monday so she is hussling trying to get it all together before shcool starts.
