In memory of Becky Wykes, to support her family ❤️

We have started this go fund me page with the permission of the family of Becky Wykes. Whilst they could not possibly ask anybody to donate or give money, they understand that in this time our community feels helpless and heartbroken and want to try and allow them to grieve without finances being a concern.

Becky Wykes, partner of Matt Buckley, mother of Charlie, daughter of Ursula & Steve sadly lost her life suddenly on the 5th March 2025.

Becky’s commitment to Sands, the stillbirth and neonatal death charity, was profound. Alongside Matt, she played an instrumental role in organising events that not only raised awareness but also provided vital support to families affected by baby loss. One such initiative was the Sands United FC Ashby football team, after facing their own devastating loss of their son, Jacob.

Becky has raised a beautiful son, Charlie. Whom she was so extremely proud of. Becky and Matt have been together for many, many years and have been through more than most couples will ever go through. Becky was raised by her fantastic, generous parents Ursula and Steve who should be so proud of the daughter we all knew and loved. Becky has so bravely fought for so long against medical conditions including PNH (Paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria) and Addisons disease, Becky’s funeral will support charities around these illnesses.

This go fund me is for anything Matt & the family wish for it to go towards. This could be Becky’s funeral, Charlie’s future, or to support Matt in the time he needs to focus on his family whilst they try to compute the huge loss.
