Becky Peterson (Overton) medical fund

Hi my name is Nicolle LeBlanc. A dear sister in Christ, young mama and friend Rebekah Peterson (Overton) had a beautiful baby girl on March 7th @ 6:00pm! Baby Charity saved her moms life Becky was diagnosed with Covid when admitted to Banner Medical Center in Casa Grande, Az and everything was going well, as well as things can go with Covid. She was set to go home when she started complaining of stomach pains, her blood pressure dropped and she became Lethargic Wednesday the 9th. Doctors performed a Cat Scan and found her to have free fluid in her abdomen which they could not find where it was coming from, they took her into emergency surgery. She had a major 5 hour surgery on her abdomen and Doctors found her to have a rare intestinal malrotation (basically a rare intestinal disease and her bowels were twisted in a knot) she had 2 liters of stool in her stomach. The surgeon told her family that if they would have found the issue 5 minutes later than when they did, she would have died.. Upon her diagnosis doctors also found her to be septic (infection in her bowels went into her blood stream). They had to put her on a ventilator due to the infection and to let her body heal. Since then her doctors have tried taking her off the Ventilator and have been unsuccessful so far. Doctor have left her incision site open to heal and now believe a new infection is spreading even though she is on strong IV antibiotics. Her team of doctors performed another CT today and her family are anxiously waiting the results.

I am raising money for them due to her husband Jed being out of work due to traveling back and forth to Casa Grande to see Becky, it’s about 2 hours from their home. Becky’s parents Jim and Ann are there thankfully helping with baby Charity and their 2 year old son Moses. Please help this little family if you are able! They mostly could use your PRAYERS for Rebekah to heal and be able to live this life God has for her with her babies and husband. If your financially able to give please do!
